Kyle Bartholomew Reid was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies at the University of Florida, and went on to earn his Master’s in Cinematography at  Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts where he was mentored by A.S.C. members, Rexford L. Metz (Jaws, Indiana Jones, What Dreams May Come) and Johnny E. Jensen (Rosewood, Rambling Rose, Grumpy Old Men). He's currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
